Clarification of bidding documents of sea water cooling pump with motorDesign And Construction Of Sea Water Cooling (SWC) System – Phase 1 All vendors，The sea water cooling pump with motor of “Design And Construction Of Sea Water Cooling (SWC) System – Phase 1” project are in the bidding stage， and there are several points that need to be clarified:1. In the tender documents， there are the following requirements:The rated power of a motor shall not be less than 10% in excess of the maximum power requirement of the driven : Please quote according to "The rated power of a motor shall not be less than 20% in excess of the maximum power requirement of the driven equipment."2. In the tender documents， there are the following requirements:Further to this， the Contractor shall ensure that there is sufficient Net Positive Suction Head available (NPSHa) to ensure that the pumps do not experience related cavitation damage as a result. The minimum NPSHa may not be less than 110% of the Net Positive Suction Head required (NPSHr) at any point within the permissible pumping range.
